International Education Week: November 14-18th
UT International Education Week is coming up soon! Events and classes about traveling, world culture, language, film, and much more will be available to all students throughout the week, and Travel Club Texas encourages everyone to check it out. Postponed Meeting
Today’s meeting will unfortunately be postponed until next Wednesday, October 5th. Seeing as many people have tests this week, this will hopefully work much better with everyone’s busy schedules. We apologize for having to cancel this week, but hope to see you next Wednesday from 6-7 PM in the business school (CBA 4.330).
Dinner & Travel Tales
The Austin hostel is hosting “Dinner & Travel Tales” tomorrow night, 9-22-11 from 7:00-8:30 PM. This event is a kickstart to the hostel’s 3rd Annual HI-Southwest Texas Council Travel Scholarship. Last year’s recipients will discuss their experiences abroad and Honduran and Bolivian cuisine will be served ($5-$10 donation suggested for the dinner). This would be a great way to learn more about the scholarship and about the awesome hostel we have here in Austin!

Meeting This Wednesday!
Our first meeting of the semester will be this Wednesday, the 14th of September in the business school (CBA 4.330) from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Please come join us and see what’s in store for Travel Club Texas this year. There will be snacks, so come hungry!

We’ve had a couple of minor complications this semester with changing officer information and reserving a room for our meetings this year, but by next week everything should be going smoothly.
